HR Policy Association and the American Health Policy Institute’s Mark Wilson was named by Washingtonian Magazine as one of Washington’s most influential people on health care policy in its March edition.

The inaugural list is comprised of policy experts “who understand the nuances and complexities of how and where laws affect business, government, and society” and thus have significant influence over policy.  As President of the American Health Policy Institute, Mark has advocated for our members on health care issues like the Cadillac tax repeal, price transparency, surprise medical billing, HSAs, COBRA subsidies, ACA regulations, and drug pricing.

HR Policy President and CEO Tim Bartl said, “Mark has dedicated countless hours providing valuable analysis of and commenting on complex and impactful regulations, meeting with lawmakers and their staffs, regulators and his colleagues in the business community.  He is widely respected by these stakeholders and by our members.  He is an invaluable leader not only on health care but employment policy.  We congratulate Mark on this well-deserved recognition and thank him for all the work he has put in on behalf of the Institute and the Association over the last twelve years.”
